The Role
Found Rental Co. is seeking a proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented Logistics Assistant to support daily dispatch operations, routing coordination, fleet readiness, and logistical execution across the business.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the right team, truck, and materials are prepared and deployed successfully each day. The Logistics Assistant supports warehouse, logistics, field, and operations teams through administrative coordination, routing support, documentation management, and operational readiness tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Dispatch, Routing & Scheduling Support
- Assist with daily dispatch operations, route coordination, and delivery scheduling.
- Organize, prepare, and print routes, warehouse sheets, and driver packets.
- Prepare and verify delivery tickets, PTIs, maps, layouts, timelines, and supporting delivery documentation.
- Input and maintain routing information within Samsara and related operational systems.
- Monitor routes and delivery progress in real time and escalate operational issues as needed.
- Support routing adjustments and last-minute operational changes throughout the day.
Fleet Readiness & Operational Support
- Conduct truck inspections and fleet readiness checks to ensure vehicles are clean, organized, fueled, and operationally ready.
- Monitor fuel levels, DEF levels, truck cleanliness, and supply readiness.
- Assist in maintaining install supply kits, cleaning kits, hardware inventory, and operational consumables.
- Support warehouse and logistics operations through inventory support tasks, operational preparation, and coordination assistance.
- Assist with truck loading coordination and operational readiness as needed.
Administrative & Documentation Support
- Enter and organize driver DEETS, driver reports, PTIs, and operational paperwork.
- Assist with writing crew details, updating daily operational boards, and preparing payroll support documentation.
- Organize and maintain logistics paperwork, filing systems, and operational documentation.
- Assist with time clock verification, lunch and break audits, and post-job administrative follow-up.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and timely communication across operational teams.
Installation Coordination & Communication
- Send daily delivery instructions and support communication between warehouse, field, logistics, and operations teams.
- Confirm site access details, routing logistics, and operational notes for upcoming installs and strikes.
- Support large install planning and operational coordination meetings.
- Assist in monitoring delays, breakdowns, and operational disruptions while escalating concerns in real time.
- Help maintain alignment between delivery schedules, staffing, and operational priorities.
Safety & Compliance
- Support safety and compliance initiatives through operational audits, reporting, and documentation tracking.
- Assist with safety training assignments, safety topic communication, and operational compliance support.
- Monitor Samsara reporting and assist in identifying HOS, DVIR, or safety-related concerns.
- Reinforce operational safety standards and proper logistical procedures throughout daily operations.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatching, warehouse operations, administrative support, or related operational environments.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, constantly changing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks independently.
- Comfortable working with routing systems, operational software, and digital documentation.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, computer systems, and administrative tools.
- Experience with Samsara, Humanity, RentMaster, or similar operational systems preferred.
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
- Flexible schedule with occasional weekend and evening availability as needed.
