The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor at Found Rental Co. is a hands-on operations leader responsible for keeping daily warehouse execution running safely, efficiently, and with precision. This role oversees order flow, team performance, inventory handling, and real-time updates to ensure every event is set up for success long before trucks hit the road.

This leader thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, takes pride in a clean and organized warehouse, and leads from the front. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for driving accountability, protecting inventory, managing daily order execution, and ensuring clear communication across Operations, Inventory, Production, and Field teams.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations, Order Flow & Quality Control

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and task flowLead the pulling, prepping, packing, and protecting of rental orders
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately and within labor goals
• Manage daily order execution and ensure timelines are metConduct regular warehouse walks and cleanliness audits
• Maintain clear walkways, loading zones, and emergency exits
• Enforce safety protocols and proper equipment usage
• Monitor team compliance with California meal and rest break laws
• Communicate regularly with the Warehouse Manager and Operations leadership for seamless shift transitions

Order Management & Update Management

• Own daily order flow and ensure all orders are staged, labeled, and ready for load
• Track order progress and provide real-time updates to Operations and Field teams
• Flag delays, shortages, or issues immediately and drive solutions
• Coordinate last-minute changes and substitutions with Inventory and Production
• Ensure pull lists, staging, and truck loads reflect the most current order revisions

Inventory Coordination

• Report missing, damaged, or unclean inventory to the Inventory Coordinator
• Coordinate repair, paint, and maintenance needs with Craftsmen and Fab Lab
• Ensure backstock and overflow areas are labeled, organized, and accessible
• Support product photography, audits, and special warehouse projects

Team Leadership & Communication

• Train, mentor, and hold warehouse team members accountable
• Partner with Load Supervisor to delegate daily tasks and ensure efficient execution
• Set expectations clearly and consistently
• Address performance issues proactively and professionally
• Foster a respectful, positive, and productive team culture

Operational Support

• Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed
• Support other warehouse leads in meeting overall fulfillment goals
• Step in on the floor whenever needed to keep operations moving

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations environments

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Clear, confident, and consistent communicator
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols
• Ability to manage multiple moving priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on leader who leads from the floor
